Food diet has become a fashion today, anyone & everyone is talking about diet.

So what’s all the fuss about?

No, fuss simple life, but as soon as we hear someone started a diet n lost a few kilos we are taken away. We just jump to a conclusion this food diet will be good for me as well.

Most of the times we never give a thought that a particular food diet may not suit my body.

We just jump into the thought that this is what will get me into shape.

Everyone’s body is unique & different. Even though it is made from same molecules, but everyone’s metabolism is different. It varies from age, lifestyle, fitness levels, size, shape  many other factors.

Food Diet

When I was obese I was doing the same mistake. I did the biggest mistake of playing with my health. I had protein shakes, diets, capsules.You name it I had tried it.The result I ended up with an enlarged uterus & cysts all over my body.

This hit me so badly that I started studying about the human body. I studied food diets & their effects on human bodies. This also helped me in raising my kids with healthy food diet. Understanding the food diet the body needs in growing years.

A moderate amount of sugar & oils is healthy. Your body needs oil but the requirement is according to the kind of work you do is it a sedentary life or more of labor work involved.

A Balanced Food Diet

  • Eat at least one fruit daily low in fructose
  • Eat green leafy vegetables in the night (high in fiber) to have a clean colon.
  • Eat lentils in the noon to complete the protein intake.
  • Add fiber to the bread you eat (add extra bran)
  • Use oats in meals to manage your cholesterol levels.

Mistakes made in the past can’t be undone. But what can be changed is the lesson you learn & create a new beginning. Food diet is important, understand the requirements of your body to eat healthily.

Just don’t follow blindly, listen to your body. It gives you indications through fatigue, headaches, lethargy & many different ways. You just need to understand & keep a notice of them.

    I agree, everyone’s body reacts differently. What’s most important is eating nutritious whole foods and getting some excercise at least thrice a week. Weight is not as big a deal as the diet industry would like us to believe.

    This was a very well written piece Richa. Have you read Rujuta Diwekar? Her principles for weight loss are on similar lines. Each person’s body and metabolism is different, so what works for one, may not work for the other.
