What is Lemongrass Tea?

Lemongrass, scientifically known as Cymbopogon citratus is also used as a culinary herb in many parts of the world, primarily in India, Asia, and Australia.

Lemongrass Herbal tea recipe

• Boil a cup of water.
• Pour the boiling water over the lemongrass herbal tea to steep.
• Leave the lemongrass herbal tea in the water for at least 5 minutes.
• Strain the liquid from the lemongrass herbal tea and pour into a teacup.

Lemongrass Herbal Tea Tonic

Bring the 3 cups of water to a boil add 1 tsp of lemongrass herbal tea  & put a lid for 5 minutes.

• Strain in a jug adds honey if desired.
• Add ice cubes or store it in the fridge, serve cold.

Note: If you are a lime lover you can add 2 lime juice to a jug of tonic to make it more refreshing
